Admissions process

Review the admissions package and contact the Admissions team or book an Arrowsmith Cognitive Assessment. An optional initial meet-up can be arranged. Applicants receive an Initial Learning Profile before an assessment briefing, scheduled within two weeks of the assessment and held in person or online. Program recommendations are based on assessment results and family circumstances. In-person assessment visits include a school tour.

Individual Cognitive Growth Plan

A personalized plan based on the Arrowsmith Cognitive Assessment and individual goals; the plan includes selected cognitive exercises.

Cognitive Exercises

Exercises target cognitive functions identified in a learner’s plan. The school offers flexible full-time, part-time, enhancement, intensive and independent check-in formats.

Cognitive Health Curriculum

Neuroplasticity-based cognitive programming for learning disabilities. · Learning difficulties involving dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, memory, processing speed, comprehension, auditory processing, ADHD, executive functioning and non-verbal thinking.

Learning support

Personalized cognitive programs for learners ages 6 to 90+ with learning disabilities · delivered online and in person. Assessment results determine targeted cognitive exercises and estimated program length. · Individual program plans are based on an Initial Learning Profile from the cognitive assessment. Teachers monitor and assess progress · while a Program Advisor and Parent Liaison help families understand the instructional approach.

The Toronto campus occupies two redesigned and renovated spaces with three cognitive classrooms and two academic classrooms.

Clubs & extracurricular activities

Student Council: Students help shape clubs, theme days, celebrations and school-improvement discussions; participation is open to all students.
Past student-led clubs: The school says past offerings have included Music, Drama, Art, Lego, Chess, Kite, Yearbook, Robotics, Sports, Ninja, Photography, Boardgames, Science and Discovery, Programming and Fitness. The annual lineup is informed by Student Council and may vary.

Outdoor activities & education

In-person students take local field trips for experiential learning; examples named by the school include Casa Loma, the Royal Ontario Museum, the Art Gallery of Ontario, Bata Shoe Museum and nearby hiking trails or parks.
Online and in-person students may join virtual field trips focused on nature, animal protection and the arts.
Students may use nearby Sir Winston Churchill Park and Glenn Gould Park when more space or higher-energy activity is useful.
